The Chairman of Adron Homes and Properties, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, KOF, has congratulated renowned businessman Anthony Osibodu on his coronation as the Bobajiro of Ilishan-Remo, describing the traditional honour as a fitting recognition of his achievements, exemplary character and contributions to society.
Emmanuelking, who holds the traditional title of Borokini of Ilishan-Remo, extended his goodwill message to Osibodu as he celebrated the dual milestones of his coronation and birthday.
He described the occasion as a significant moment in Osibodu's life, noting that his elevation to the revered traditional position reflected the respect and admiration he had earned through business excellence, personal accomplishments and sustained community engagement.
“When a man spends his years building a name of honour, there comes a time when honour itself rises to meet him,” Emmanuelking stated.
The Adron Homes chairman commended Osibodu for building a distinguished business profile and establishing an international presence while remaining humble, approachable and committed to strong family values.
According to him, Osibodu's accomplishments go beyond his professional and business pursuits, as his character, simplicity and dedication to the welfare of those around him have further established him as a respected personality.
Emmanuelking also acknowledged Osibodu's leadership roles as Asiwaju of the Osibodu family and President of The Ilishan Club, describing the positions as evidence of his commitment to family leadership, community development and the preservation of shared heritage.
He stressed that effective leadership at the family and community levels requires more than status or recognition, emphasising the importance of integrity, maturity, trust and the ability to unite people towards common goals.
He noted that Osibodu's coronation was particularly significant because it strengthened his connection to his roots while entrusting him with greater responsibility for the growth and development of Ilishan-Remo.
Emmanuelking expressed confidence that the new Bobajiro would bring wisdom, dignity and a strong sense of service to the traditional institution, building on the values that have distinguished his personal and professional journey.
He further observed that the coincidence of the coronation with Osibodu's birthday made the occasion even more memorable, providing an opportunity to celebrate both his personal journey and the honour bestowed upon him by his community.
The Adron Homes chairman prayed for God's continued protection, sound health, wisdom and prosperity for Osibodu, expressing hope that his new year would bring greater fulfilment, fresh opportunities and renewed strength to discharge his responsibilities.
He also wished him many more years of meaningful accomplishments, leadership, philanthropy and service to humanity.
