Ogun East 2027: Abiodun Emerges APC Consensus Candidate as Daniel Rejects Process

Otunba Gbenga Daniel has lost out as Ogun East APC stakeholders endorsed Dapo Abiodun as their consensus senatorial candidate for the 2027 election.

The decision was reached at a stakeholders’ meeting attended by prominent leaders from the zone, but proceedings took a dramatic turn when Daniel was reportedly denied access to the venue.

Speaking to his supporters outside, the senator rejected the outcome, maintaining that any resolution reached in his absence would not stand.
