Adron Group Explores Agricultural Expansion with Proposed Farm Estates in Niger State

Adron Group is exploring a strategic entry into Nigeria’s agricultural sector through the proposed development of specialised farm estates in Niger State, in partnership with the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center.

The Group’s Chairman and Group Chief Executive Officer, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, disclosed the initiative during a strategic visit to the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center, where he held discussions with the centre’s management on opportunities in livestock production, commercial agriculture and agro-processing.

The proposed partnership would combine Adron Group’s expertise in real estate development, land acquisition and infrastructure with the agricultural knowledge and livestock production capacity of the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center.

A key component of the proposed collaboration is the development of Adron Farm Estates—planned agricultural communities designed to provide secure, well-structured environments for commercial farming, livestock production and agro-processing.

During the visit, Emmanuelking toured the facilities at the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center and assessed potential areas of collaboration in livestock breeding, production and the broader agricultural value chain.

The discussions also underscored the importance of infrastructure and organised land development in addressing some of the challenges facing Nigeria’s agricultural sector.

Under the proposed concept, Adron Farm Estates would provide farmers, investors and agribusiness operators with properly planned land layouts and supporting infrastructure to facilitate large-scale agricultural activities.

The initiative is expected to support job creation, rural development, food production, investment and agro-industrial growth, while strengthening the agricultural value chain in Niger State.

If successfully implemented, the partnership could position Niger State as a significant destination for integrated agricultural and real estate investment, establishing a model that combines modern estate development with commercial food and livestock production.

The initiative represents a further expansion of Adron Group’s development strategy beyond conventional residential real estate, as the company explores investment opportunities that can support sustainable communities and contribute to Nigeria’s economic growth.

Further engagements between Adron Group and the Niger Foods Breeding and Feedlot Center are expected to define the framework and scope of the proposed collaboration.
