The Vice Chancellor of the Federal University of Allied Health Sciences Enugu, Professor John Emaimo, has extended warm Eid-El-Kabir greetings to Muslim faithful, urging members of the university community and Nigerians to reflect deeply on the significance of the celebration.
In a Sallah message released through the institution’s Public Relations Unit, the Vice Chancellor called on staff and students to celebrate in moderation, stressing that the essence of Eid-El-Kabir — faith, sacrifice, obedience, and humility — should remain central in their daily lives, as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim and his son, Ismail.
Professor Emaimo encouraged students to remain committed to their academic pursuits, noting that success can only be achieved through dedication, focus, hard work, and trust in God.
He further disclosed that the inclusion of the specialised health sciences institution in the Federal Government’s TETFUND intervention scheme would usher in significant academic and infrastructural development for the university, thereby improving the environment for teaching, research, and learning.
The Vice Chancellor also urged students to take advantage of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s NELFUND initiative, which is aimed at reducing financial burdens and ensuring uninterrupted access to quality education and academic excellence for Nigerian youths.
Professor Emaimo equally congratulated President Tinubu and Peter Mbah on their recent victories in their respective party primaries.
