Golden at 50: ACJ Honours Pastor Patience Oghogho Earnest for Exemplary Christian Leadership |Omohglobalnews

Ota, Ogun State– Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Oghogho Earnest, wife of the Pastor-in-Charge of Blessed Assembly, Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Ota, Ogun State, has been celebrated as a virtuous Christian leader, revivalist, mentor and dedicated educator whose life has positively impacted the Church, family and society.

The commendation was made by the President of the Association of Christian Journalists of Nigeria (ACJ), Elder Oludayo Ojewole, during the presentation of a prestigious Award of Excellence to the woman of God as part of activities marking her 50th birthday celebration.

Speaking at the colourful ceremony held at the church auditorium, Elder Ojewole described Pastor (Mrs.) Earnest as a shining example of godliness, humility and selfless service. He noted that beyond being a supportive wife and devoted mother, she has distinguished herself as a passionate revivalist, marriage counsellor, mentor to young families and a compassionate caregiver to children.

According to him, “Pastor (Mrs.) Patience Oghogho Earnest embodies the virtues of Christian leadership. Her commitment to God’s work, dedication to raising godly homes, and unwavering service to humanity make her deserving of this recognition.”

The award presentation, which served as the highlight of her golden jubilee celebration, attracted family members, friends, colleagues, church leaders, associates and well-wishers from different walks of life.




Guests took turns to pay glowing tributes to the celebrant, describing her as a woman of grace, wisdom, compassion and uncommon dedication to the service of God and humanity. Her colleagues in the education sector praised her professionalism, diligence and positive influence on countless students over the years.

In her response, Pastor (Mrs.) Earnest expressed profound gratitude to God for His faithfulness throughout her life and ministry. She also appreciated her husband, family members, church members, friends and numerous supporters whose love and contributions made the celebration a memorable one.





She specifically thanked the Atolagbe family, Mummy Jesuwole, members of Blessed Assembly and all guests for their prayers, support and presence at the event.

The celebration concluded in an atmosphere of joy and thanksgiving as guests were lavishly entertained with sumptuous meals and refreshments while rejoicing with the celebrant on her milestone birthday and well-deserved honour.
