A UK-trained engineer, Engr. Temitayo Agemo-Okuboyejo, has declared her intention to contest the Ado-Odo/Ota Federal Constituency seat under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2027 general elections.
She said her ambition is driven by a resolve to tackle “intellectual poverty” through the modernisation of education and healthcare in the constituency.
Agemo-Okuboyejo disclosed this during the “Meet the Press” session organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ogun West Independent Chapel, where she outlined grassroots-focused solutions to local challenges.
She said her approach would prioritise school development projects aimed at strengthening learning from primary to tertiary levels.
She also pledged school uniform support and educational assistance for students in higher institutions.
On healthcare, she promised improved access to vaccines for children and youths, alongside the upgrade of health centres.
She assured constituents of impactful and sustainable development if elected.
