As part of activities marking the 2025 Press Week of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Oyo State Chapter, a delegation of journalists paid a courtesy visit to Adron Homes and Properties Limited, Nigeria’s leading real estate development firm.
The Press Week, slated for October 12th to 17th, 2025, in Ibadan, focuses on strengthening media engagement and celebrating excellence in journalism. The visit aimed to foster collaboration between the NUJ and Adron Homes in promoting public awareness of housing and real estate investment.
Led by the Oyo State NUJ Chairman, Comrade Ademola Babalola, the delegation was warmly received by the Managing Director of Adron Group, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo, at the company’s head office in Omole, Lagos. In his address, Comrade Babalola lauded Adron Homes for its steadfast commitment to delivering affordable housing in Nigeria.
He described the company as a model of innovation and social impact, commending its role in improving the lives of Nigerian families through sustainable real estate solutions.
In her response, Mrs. Adenike Ajobo on behalf of the Chairman/CEO, Sir Adetola Emmanuelking, expressed deep appreciation to the Oyo NUJ for the visit and congratulated the council on its upcoming Press Week. She reaffirmed Adron Homes’ commitment to fostering strong relationships with the media and ensuring transparency and trust in the real estate sector.

The Chairman/CEO of Adron Group, Sir Aare Adetola Emmanuelking, KOF, has congratulated the Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON, and the entire people of Ogun State, on the historic occasion of the maiden commercial flight from the Gateway International Airport, Iperu-Ilishan.
In a congratulatory message, he described the milestone as a landmark achievement that reaffirms the Governor’s exceptional leadership, strategic foresight, and commitment to the infrastructural and economic transformation of Ogun State.
According to him, the successful take-off of the maiden flight marks the dawn of a new era in the state’s industrial and commercial growth, firmly positioning Ogun as the true Gateway to Prosperity and Development in Nigeria.
He noted that the feat encapsulates the essence of purposeful governance. “By turning long-held aspirations into tangible reality, His Excellency has demonstrated that leadership is not merely about vision, but about the courage and capacity to bring that vision to life,” he stated.
Aare Adetola EmmanuelKing also suggested that the state government consider establishing its own airline, “Gateway Air,” to further strengthen Ogun State’s identity, boost tourism and trade, and maximize the enormous economic potential of the new airport.
He commended Governor Abiodun for his transformative leadership and expressed optimism that under his watch, Ogun State would continue to thrive as Nigeria’s leading investment destination and a model of modern development.
“As you continue to steer the ship of state toward even greater achievements, I pray for divine wisdom, strength, and continued success in delivering the dividends of good governance to the great people of Ogun State,” he added.
He concluded by describing the project as a historic legacy that will stand the test of time.
Adron Homes has once again reaffirmed its leadership position in the Nigerian real estate sector as it was honoured with an Appreciation Award by the Lagos State Government under the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.
The award was presented on October 6th at the 2025 World Habitat Day Celebration held in Lagos, with this year’s theme, “Urban Crisis Response: Flooding in Focus.” The event brought together key stakeholders, policymakers, and industry leaders to discuss innovative and collaborative strategies for addressing the growing challenges of urban development, particularly those related to flooding and environmental resilience.
According to the Honourable Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr. Oluyinka Olumide, Adron Homes was recognized for its “outstanding service and support toward sustainable urban growth.” The company’s consistent contributions to housing development, infrastructure investment, and community planning have significantly complemented government efforts to achieve inclusive, livable, and resilient cities.
