Access Holdings Plc has announced plans to hold its annual Access Walk Against Cancer, a flagship initiative promoting breast cancer awareness, early detection, and community health education in commemoration of Breast Cancer Awareness Month
The walk, scheduled for Saturday, October 25, 2025, will begin at Access Towers, proceed to Muri Okunola Park, and return to the Towers. The event is expected to unite employees, partners, and members of the public in a shared mission to fight cancer through awareness, advocacy, and preventive care.
Speaking on the initiative, Esther Graham, Programme Manager, Health at Access Holdings, said the company remains committed to fostering health-conscious communities.
“At Access Holdings, we believe that health is the foundation of progress. Through the Access Walk Against Cancer, we are not only raising awareness but also inspiring collective action to protect and preserve lives,” Graham stated.
The event, organised in collaboration with the HACEY Health Initiative and Sebeccly Cancer Support Center, will include free health screenings for over 300 women, along with games, wellness sessions, and interactive activities aimed at promoting community engagement and education.
Participants are encouraged to walk in honour of loved ones, for personal health goals, or in solidarity with others, contributing to a larger purpose of building a healthier and more informed society.
Registration for the Access Walk Against Cancer 2025 is open to the public via the official Access Holdings portal.
