Atiku Meets Malami, Tambuwal — Declares ADC Coalition Will Rescue Nigeria from Tinubu’s ‘Dictatorship’ |Omohglobalnews

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has intensified his push for a united opposition, declaring that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) coalition will not back down in its mission to “rescue Nigeria’s democracy” from what he described as President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s growing dictatorship.

Atiku made the declaration on Monday during high-level consultations with Senator Aminu Tambuwal, representing Sokoto South, and former Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.

Taking to X shortly after the meetings, the former presidential candidate insisted that opposition leaders must remain resolute in defending Nigerians against alleged anti-democratic practices of the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led government.

“We will be unrelenting in defending the rights of every Nigerian being harassed by anti-democratic forces of the Tinubu-led APC administration,” Atiku said.
“The coalition that we are pushing is aimed at rescuing our democracy from the stranglehold of this emerging dictatorship. We shall be deliberate in joining hands in saving our democracy.”

Atiku’s latest moves signal renewed momentum within the opposition camp, as political heavyweights weigh alliances ahead of future battles to shape Nigeria’s political direction.
