Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola (Yayi), representing Ogun West, continues to attract widespread support across Ogun State as a result of his exemplary performance and dedication to the welfare of residents.
The latest endorsement comes from the Great Dependable Forum (GDF), a non-governmental organization with members spread across the 20 local government areas of the state.
At the investiture ceremony of Hon. Kayode Taiwo as the Forum’s Patron in Ota, GDF leaders, Olori Temitope Esther Solomon (State Chairperson, from Sagamu) and Pastor Ajiboye Peter (State Secretary), formally declared their adoption of Senator Yayi as their preferred candidate for the 2027 elections.
According to them, the decision was informed by the senator’s impactful welfare initiatives and people-oriented projects that extend beyond Ogun West to all three senatorial districts of the state. They noted that his programs align with GDF’s seven-point mission, which includes support for widows and the elderly, youth empowerment, employment initiatives, agricultural development, business and trade support, as well as education funding.
With a membership strength of over 2,000 drawn from farmers, small business owners, artisans, livestock farmers, and community leaders, GDF disclosed that their endorsement was unanimous after a careful review of the senator’s track record.
Speaking after his installation as Patron, Hon. Kayode Taiwo expressed appreciation, not only for the honor conferred on him, but also for the genuine recognition of Senator Yayi’s quality representation and developmental strides across Ogun State. He assured members that he would personally convey their message to the senator and urged them to remain steadfast in their resolve.
Hon. Taiwo also commended members from Sagamu, Remo North, and Ikenne local governments for their unwavering support toward the electoral victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Hon. Elegbeji, in the Sagamu/Remo North/Ikenne Federal Constituency.
The ceremony in Ota was attended by over 100 GDF representatives, cutting across 14 local governments from the three senatorial districts of Ogun State.
