Barely a week into Big Brother Naija Season 10, and it already feels like we’ve lived through a whole month of drama, gbas gbos, tears, laughter, and sneaky ships. From the jump, this season is already staying true to its theme by delivering 10/10 content standard. Double launch, multiple dramas, and Biggie have made it clear: this is not your regular BBNaija season.
A Double Launch and a Double Dose of Drama
BBNaija kicked off with a fiery double launch on Saturday and Sunday, and trust us, every single housemate who walked that stage didn’t just bring heat, they came with fire. From bold entrances to bold personalities, the stage has been set for a season like no other. This time around, Biggie is switching things up, and if you thought you could predict the BBNaija format, think again.
Head of House Twist: Defend Your Crown or Lose It
This season isn’t letting anyone rest. For the first time, the Head of House Challenge isn’t a one-and-done affair. After the Sunday games, housemates were stunned to learn that Monday brought a fresh twist: the reigning HOH must defend their title or watch it slip away. Talk about pressure. Jason Jae came through and clinched the title of the season’s first HOH on Sunday and defended it on Monday, proving he’s not just in the house for vibes.
Fake Nominations
On Monday, the housemates walked into the diary room to submit their nominations as usual. But in a classic Biggie move, it was all just a decoy; there will be no evictions this week. Instead, they’re being watched for how they play the game with the illusion of going home, and some are clearly playing harder than others.
Tears, Tantrums, and Tissues
What is it with the BBNaija house this year and crying? These housemates are letting it all out, and we mean all.
Koyin kicked off the waterworks after an emotional story from Mensah left him sobbing. Kaybobo also bawled his eyes out during an argument with Mensan, where Mensan called him a bully. Isabella's heartbreak ignited tears. Gigi and Tracy cried, too overwhelmed by loneliness. Even Imisi during her diary section.
Biggie might need to start supplying tissues in bulk. And if anyone is planning to use tears as their strategy, they'd better have a rethink because no one is holding back the waterworks.
The Ships Are Shipping… Or Are They?
What’s BBNaija without a bit of romance? Gigi Jasmine, and Victory seem to be exploring something more than friendship. Meanwhile, Dede is effortlessly the centre of male attention, with names like Kola, Kaybobo, Oteja, Bright Morgan, and even Jason Jae constantly circling her name. Whether she’s aware or just expertly playing her own game, she’s stirring the pot deliciously.
Over on the more intimate side of things, Isabella and Kayikunmi have been spotted getting a little too cosy under the covers. However, Kayikunmi has admitted he finds someone else attractive too.
If the first week is anything to go by, this season is unpredictable, unfiltered, and absolutely addictive. The twists are twisting, the housemates are serving premium content, and Biggie is not here to play.
