Ado Odo Ota Local Government Junior Staff Management Committee has conducted the year 2023/2024 promotion and conversion exercise for the junior staffers of the Local Government at the Council Secretariat, Ota.
The Ogun State Local Government Service Commission's Director of Manpower Development and Training, Mrs Akintonmide Taiwo, who led the Commission's team to monitor the exercise, stated that, the Permanent Secretary, Engr.Olanike Ogunbona FNSE remain committed to the core values of the Commission and urged members of the JSMC to instil the core- values ranging from Discipline, Integrity, professionalism and Passion for Excellence into the member of Service.
Mrs Akintonmide Taiwo, commended the Management of Ado Odo Ota Local Government under the leadership of the Chairman, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu, FCA for their efforts on regular In-House Training programs for staffers of the Council. She further charged the Management to consolidate on the training program as it will boost the performance of staffers and prepare them ahead of any form of examination exercise at all times.
Earlier speaking, the Director of General Services and Administration of the Council, Mr Akinde Adebisi who also doubles as the Chairman of the JSMC, welcomed the team from the Commission and appreciated them for their prompt action on the conduct of the Promotion and Conversion Exercise immediately the approval was given to the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission by the Governor of Ogun State His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun, CON.
Furthermore, Mr Akinde Adebisi, thanked the Chairman of Council, Hon. Lawal Adewale Wasiu FCA for his unflinching support to the development and welfare of staffers of the Council. He
described him as a visionary Leader that has imbibed the idea of the Governor of the State. He extended his appreciation to the Council's Head of Local Government Administration Alhaji Junaid Wasiu Babatunde, FCA, for his commitment and encouragement towards staffers welfarism and career progression.
The Ado Odo Ota Local Government JSMC 2023/2024 Promotion and Conversion Exercise witnessed the participation of 57 junior Staffers.
Present at the JSMC Promotion and Conversion Exercise were the team from Ogun State Local Government Service Commission led by the Director of Manpower Development and Training, Mrs Akintonmide Taiwo, Director of Appointment Discipline And Pension, Alhaji Lemboye Saubana Abayomi, Director of Promotion Posting And Transfer, Mr Elemide Adeola, the Health Secretary of Ado Odo Ota Local Government Health Care Board, Dr Bakare Jeleel and all Directors and Heads of various Departments of Ado Odo Ota Local Government.
