The entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association (OTA BRANCH) aka "Utter Bar" commiserate with the entire family of Messrs Adesina Ogunlana who passed on, on the 6th of August, 2024. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to the entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association (Ikeja Branch), his associates, colleagues, friends, the Nigerian Bar and the Nation at large.
We are presently in shock at the sudden news of his untimely death. Our members have been pouring out their griefs in numbers on our various platforms. Several have recounted the roles he has played in their respective lives at various times. Adesina Ogunlana is a honourary member of the Utter Bar. He has left indelible marks on our souls and history. He was part of the nationally acclaimed FIX-OTA ROADS executed by our branch. He was a regular guest speaker at our past Law Weeks and Branch programmes. He played a pivotal role in resolving the impasse that was foisted upon us as an aftermath of the recent Branch Election. He was also around with his son during the swearing in of the New Executives and Annual General Meeting which was held on Friday, 2nd of August 2024. We can go on and on reeling out the uncontactable roles he has played during his rich and eventful sojourn on earth.
While we keenly await further details on the circumstances surrounding your death: Adesina Ogunlana aka SERUBAWON, we will forever miss you. May Almighty God continue to be with your family. Adieu comrade!
