Christ Embassy fire outbreak
The headquarters of the Christ Embassy Church, located in the Oregun area of Ikeja, Lagos State, has reportedly caught fire on Sunday morning.
This is according to multiple videos from the scene seen.
Sharing a video from the location, Augustine tweeting as Chief_Augustin1 on X.com wrote, “Christ Embassy Church on Billings Way, Oregun, is on fire.
“Serious fire is raging, and men of the Lagos State Fire Service are working hard to put it off. Thank God service hasn’t commenced fully.”
Officials of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service are also said to be at the scene in effort to salvage the situation.
While the cause of the incident is yet to be known as of press time, it was gathered that the property was also gutted by fire on March 18, 2014.
