AOOLG Chairman Urges Residents To Remain Calm Aftermath Of Electricity Poles Destroyed By Rainstorm |Omohglobalnews

Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Chairman, Engr. Sheriff Musa has appealed to the residents to remain calm as governments will not relent in its efforts to fix the damaged poles across the nooks and crannies of the area.

The Executive Chairman, Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government, Engr. Sheriff Musa made this statement in a chat with journalists during on the spot assessment of  affected areas urging the residents to stay away from the affected areas.

He added that he will do everything at his disposal to compel the Ibadan Electricity Distribution Company, as a matter of urgency to attend to the affected areas saying residents should exercise patient as almost forty communities were affected.

Engr. Musa said he will beef up  security around the affected areas as not to allow the hoodlums tamper with the government poles and cables adding that residents should remain calm and go about their lawful businesses.

 Due to broken poles as a result of  heavy downpour in Ota on Sunday, residents in the following communities: lyana lyesi, Osuke Town, Egan Road, lyana Ilogbo, Ijaba, Ijagba, Itele, Lafenwa, Singer, Joju, Alishiba, Oju Ore, Tollgate, Eledi, Akeja, Abebi, Osi Round About, Ota Town, Ota Industrial Estate, Igberen, lju, Atan, Onipanu, Obasanjo, Lusada, Arigba, Odugbe, Ado-Odo, Igbesa, Owode. Olokuta, Hanushi, Bamtish Camp Lufiwape, Eltees Farm, August Engineering, Spark Cear Soap Ayetoro, Amazing Grace Oil, Christopher University, Royal Garden Estate and environs are to be patient for experiencing power outages.
