Igbore Town experienced the world class installation of the first IYANIWURA AJE AGBAYE during the World Aje Festival themed Thanks Giving.
The organizer of 2024 AJE AGBAYE Festival, INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATION OF AJE TRADITIONAL AND CULTURAL HERITAGE headed by Her Spiritual Majesty, Obabirin Adetoke Ola Oyekan, Paramount and Most Spiritual Head of AJE Worldwide on February 3rd at Igbore Town noted the remarkable activities of Aje in the last ten years of celebrating Aje Festival worldwide.
She paid more homage and encomiums on the first Iyaniwura AJE AGBAYE who was installed during the 2024 Aje Agbaye Festival and 10th Anniversary at Igbore Town.
According to Her Majesty who pronounced the AJE as “Our World”, a divine spirit from Eledumare that is in charge of TREASURY also made it open at the Installation of the first of it’s kind, IYANIWURA AJE AGBAYE, the highest rank in it existence was bestowed to an illustrious daughter of Igbore who has same vision in promoting culture and the divinity of Aje, Chief Dr. Rot. Jackie Adunni Kassim. A woman of many titles, the Yeye Akin of Otta, Awori Kingdom, Yeye Oriade of Tigbo Land, Ota, Awori Kingdom, Erelu Iyun Agbaye, Jagunmolu Iyalode Igbore and Yeyeloro of Akinale, Owu Kingdom
Chief (Dr) Jackie Adunni kassim MBA, CFIAR, FCSS was born to a very disciplined family in the ancient city of Ibadan, she later moved to London where she started her early education at St. Augustine’s CE High School In Kilbourne, London.
She proceeded to Kinver High School Also in London and later went on to do her Master’s Degree in Business Administration, she got a Doctorate at the West African College for Christian Missions.
She is the CEO and founder of MISSAK AGENCY ENTERPRISES which was established in 1989 which also gave birth to numerous companies out of which is: Missak Agency International Limited, Missak Agency Enterprises, Emerald Security International Limited, Connect Events And Suites Limited and Industrial Online Radio
She later established Missak Education And Rural Development Foundation (MERDEF) with the sole purpose of giving back to the society, taking care of the less privilege, widows, physically challenged, motherless etc, so that they too can hope and be rest assured that someone cares for them.
She belongs to many associations like American Nigeria Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross Creek etc. and has received many awards from Nigeria and abroad basically on merit.
Aduni Jackie, a woman of many attributes commends the organizer of the World Aje Festival in Igbore Town who through their numerous findings and shortlisting made her a worthy daughter of Igbore to ascend the throne as the first IYANIWURA Aje Agbaye. She intensify on how Yoruba Culture will stand and move to the next level without compromising the values of our traditions.
