The Executive Chairman of Ado-Odo/Ota Local Government Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa FCPA has joined other well-meaning Nigerians in the celebration of World Teachers Day. He described teachers in the council area as respectable stakeholders in the drive toward Nation-building, adding that Ogun State Government policies in Education Sector cannot be successful without the unflinching support and cooperation of teachers.
The Council Boss said, "I salute the great teachers of this Local Government of distinction on this day of the World Teachers Day we are happy and convinced that the future of this Local Government is closely tied to the quality and welfare of our teachers who are in charge of preparing our children for the future". He hailed the teachers for their contribution to the Educational growth of the country.
Furthermore, Engr. Musa added that Ogun State under the leadership of His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun CON has been doing a lot in terms of rebuilding education sector of this state and provision of developmental projects for all schools which are glaring for all to see.
He then urged teachers to brace up for the tasks of rebuilding our School system in line with policies of Ogun State Government.
The Vice Chairman of the Council who also doubled as the Supervisor for Education Mrs. Saidat Olatunbosun Animashaun has also congratulated teachers in the council area as they joined the rest of the World to mark World Teachers Day. She described Teachers as the pillars and future of the council's education system. She equally urged the teachers not to relent at making Ado Odo Ota Local Government great.
