JUST IN:Rep-Elect Dies Few Weeks to Inauguration in Taraba |Omohglobalnews

The House of Representatives member-elect for Jalingo/Yorro/ Zing Federal Constituency Taraba State, Hon. Isma’ila Yushua Maihanchi, is dead.

Maihanchi died in the early hours of Saturday, April 22, 2023, after a brief illness. 

He won the election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). 

According to Channels Television, his remains would be laid to rest according to Islamic rites later in the day today at the national cemetery in Abuja.

He served as a Special Adviser to Taraba State Governor Darius Ishaku before to his election. He was also the Taraba State Secretary of the PDP.
