Ogun state deputy governor Engr. (Mrs) Noimot Oyede Salako, has affirmed that the Dapo Abiodun led administration has been fair to opposition parties and opponents towards his campaign activities for the coming general election.
Omohglobalnews reports that she gave the affirmation during an interactive session with journalists in Ota last Thursday.
" No strict restrictions to any opposition parties in order not to campaign freely nor being harassed during their campaign activities all over the nooks and crannies of Ogun state." she affirmed. Though no lilly livered in politics, but that would not make Dapo Abiodun led administration descend so low to the extent of harassing and ripping off opposition posters as long as the campaign venues have been approved. "No politics of bitterness in Ogun state" the deputy governor said.
On highway trading she said we were all guilty of this nefarious acts. Saying, " If government clamped on the offenders, journalists will write against the government actions and even plead on their behalf because both the traders and patronisers are known relatives to us all in the society.
She said further that highway trading is a social issue, all we need is to change our orientation and attitude.
On the issue of construction of stadium and 300 houses in Ado Odo Ota, the deputy governor said there have been plan for it, but government is searching for land to site it.
Commenting on issuance of Certificate of Occupancy ( C of O) initiated by their predecessor, allegedly being neglected since inception of the administrations. She said the issue , has not been brought to their notice, adding that the government will look into it.
