OGLGSC BOSS COMMENDS ADO ODO/ OTA LG STAFFERS
The chairman Ogun State Local Government Service Commission Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo has commended the staffers of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government for the warm and excellent reception given to the management team of the Commission.
Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo made this commendation during the official working tour of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government on Wednesday 14th of September 2022. She equally charged the workers to consolidate on their good attitude to work as it will result in quality service delivery. She added that,the purpose of the tour is to accustom the Commission with happenings in all Local Government councils throughout Ogun State.
Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo further stated that the ongoing tour of Local Government Councils in the state was long overdue since their appointment into office by the state Governor His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun MFR. She also urged staffers of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government to remain focused and dedicated while adding that the Commission will continue to be fair to all.
The Permanent Secretary Ogun State Local Government Service Commission Dr Adeolu Oluseun Olufowobi appreciated staffers of Ado-Odo Ota Local Government for their doggedness and steadfastness. He urged members of staff to be confident at all times and not to see Local Government workers as being inferior to other tiers of Government. He further charged all staffers to continue to have positive attitude to work as the Commission will not take it lightly with any staff found wanting.
Earlier speaking, the Head of Local Government Administration Dr Adebola Bamgbose gave all glory to Almighty God for being alive with the entire workforce of the Council to witness the visit of the Commission to the Local Government of Distinction the most industrialized Local Government Area in Nigeria. He equally appreciated the Ogun State Local Government Service Commission headed by the Chairman Barrister Olivia Olubukunola Onabanjo for the unprecedented achievements that had been recorded within the period the present Commission came on board. He also extended the appreciation of the generality of staff to the Commission on the historic visit. He added that the visit will avail the Commission the opportunity to understand the peculiarity of the staff of the Council and challenges facing them.
The Chairman Nigeria Local Government Employees Ado Odo Ota chapter, Comrade Ogunronbi Oloyede thanked the Commission for their visits and stated that the staffers of the Council will uphold the standard of the Commission for quality service delivery.
The Commission had closed door meetings with the Council Chairman Engr. Sheriff Adewale Musa, the Executive Members and the executive members of the Zonal Community Development Council in Ado-Odo Ota Local Government area separately.
