Mammoth crowd was witnessed this evening around the palace of Olowo ,Oba Ajibade Gbadegesi Ogunoye III, the traditional ruler of Owo.
Omohglobal news learnt that the crowd has something to do with the apprehension of purported killers involved in the dastardly act that claimed innocent lives of congregants and leaving scores with varied degree of injuries on June 5 at St. Francis Catholic Church ,Owaluwa in the ancient town.
A trending video shows a crowd protesting within the palace of the Olowo of Owo, Oba Ajibade Ogunoye. One of them could be heard saying: “They want to take them (suspects) to Akure. The youths are angry.” The die-hard criminals that brought untold agony to the ancient were captured by the Security Operatives inside the forest reserve in the community.
However, despite the jubilation witnessed over the arrest,there is still fear in the land.
The Olowo of Owo Kingdom , Oba Ajibade Gbadegesi Ogunoye III was seen in a video now viral on the social media confirming the said arrest but revealed that the culprits were being taken to Akure,the state capital for further investigation and punishment.
The traditional ruler emphatically submitted," You all know that war will never ravage this kingdom. We told you that the ancestors of the land will never allow this die-hard criminals to go scot-free. " " Ogun-un j'Ogho moro".
The Security Operatives like the army, police and Amotekun Security corps as well as other local vigilante members are appreciated for their coordinated response and their victory over evil.
